OR students are exposed to a host of research activities in the School. As one would expect from a program as large as our’s, the range and depth of these activities are substantial. Depending upon their taste, their background, or their career intentions, an OR student can engage in research that spans from the most fundamental/theoretical to work that places greater emphasis on applications. Important in this regard is that no matter their inclination, OR students generally find not just one or two faculty doing work in their chosen concentration but several.
